DEJA VU

Our thanks to Deja Vu for graciously posing for her owners Rod and Sharon.

Deja in the picture below was still a wonderful old lady in December 2002 at the grand old age of 23. She was 24 on Valentines Day, 2003 and sadly passed away soon afterwards, and is very sadly missed by her owners Rod and Sharon, she left pawprints on their hearts.

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.

When a pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food, water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. The abandoned animals are again surrounded by friends. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play the whole day, every day, with each other.

There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special people who loved them here on Earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. The nose twitches! The ears perk up! The eyes water! And, suddenly this one pet bolts excitedly away from the other animals!

Your pet has seen you arrive! And when you meet your special friend again, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face and nose and lips and neck are licked again and again and again.........and you look once more into the soulful eyes of your loving, trusting pet.

And then, holding each other, you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.......never again to be separated.
